I am very excited about this event , therefore i would like to send a open invite to friends and my business network  and interested readers to attend this event with together with me.

When i visited Istanbul a couple of years ago i was amazed about the discoveries i made regarding business opportunities in Istanbul Turkiye. I was not there for business to begin with, it was family matters. But these revelations just came to me while i was walking around and meeting people and attending events and having a good time almost like a tourist.

Ok i have always had a big interest in business and economy and understanding howe it works, and startups but still i did not go looking for it , it is difficult to explain it just came to me. This revelation partly guided me to where i am now.

Istanbul a huge city which has a unofficial population of around at least 22 million, and a gateway city between the west , Europe to Asia and Africa with a very vibrant business community is a very exciting place to be for this event. Dont take my word for it , just ask some of Denmarks most famous brands who are well established in Istanbul and is still opening stores in a fast pace, like EQQO, LEGO, and recently as a newcomer JYSK. And also the other way around , Turkish chains like MADO and SIMIT DUNYASI are examples of established brands outside Turkiye.

I will write more about established Scandinavien brands in Istanbul in other blogs in the future. The reason for my excitement for this event is the broader business opportunities and not the franchise business model which im not a big fan of. The franchise business model is old and nothing new , and it has serious drawbacks and a crippling effect on innovation. There is fresh examples of strong brands opting to not go for the Franchise model but prefers to have more control of the brand development. But still very exciting in a business development sense , there is already well established businesses and stores . Even thought the examples  are not all franchises , i believe this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to discovering business opportunities between Turkiye and Scandinavia, and there is lots of new discoveries in the horizon i am very sure of this.

The fair is organized by UFRAD , the Turkish Franchize association which is one of the worlds biggest franchise organisations with an annual transaction volume of 35 Billion US dollars, and it brings together domestic and international investors,and more then 250 brands from 40 different sectors. Well i could write a lot and it will be too long to read so im just gonna go with what i can promise you,  it is going to be FUN!!
